No prior conditioning experience is required. We tailor sessions to your current abilities and skiing goals, whether you’re new to the sport or have spent years on the mountain.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely and supportive workout shoes. You won’t need your ski boots!

Do I need to bring any equipment?
We provide the exercise equipment for your session. Bring water and any questions about your goals or concerns.

When are appointments available?
Ski conditioning sessions are scheduled individually. Early morning appointments are available with Jordan, making it easier to fit training in before work. Contact us for current availability.

Is ski conditioning covered by insurance?
Conditioning and performance training are generally self-pay services. If you’re seeking treatment for pain or an injury, physical therapy may be eligible for insurance coverage depending on your plan and medical needs. Contact us so we can help clarify your options.

Can I participate while recovering from surgery or an injury?
Your starting point depends on your recovery and any restrictions from your treating team. Our PTs can help determine whether conditioning or continued rehabilitation is appropriate and adapt your plan accordingly.

Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place at our Columbia Falls clinic at 535 4th Ave W. We welcome skiers from Whitefish, Kalispell, Bigfork, and throughout the Flathead Valley.

How far ahead of ski season should I start?
Starting several weeks before the season gives you time to build gradually. Your PT can recommend a timeline based on your current fitness and goals. You can also work on conditioning throughout the season.

Are these group classes or private sessions?
These are one-on-one sessions with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your training is individualized, with coaching and adjustments throughout your appointment.

How often should I come in?
Your PT will recommend a schedule based on your goals, current activity level, and availability. Ask about exercises you can continue between appointments to support your progress.
